Cultural Insight
Eric: Now it's time for a quick cultural insight.
Icten: A famous expression in Turkey is Neden olmasın? which means, like in English, "Why not?"
You can use it to accept a proposition if you agree but aren’t really that keen to do it. Or, if it was not planned in advance.
For example if a friend asks you suddenly "Do you want to go to the cinema tonight?" you can answer Neden olmasın? meaning "Why not?"

Outro

Eric: And that’s all for this lesson. Don’t forget to check out the lesson notes, and we’ll see you in the next lesson!
Icten: Hoşçakalın.
