| and you will need some vocabulary and information on the subject. |

| First of all, before we start with the related vocabulary and sentences, |
| let's talk about how you can rent an apartment in Turkey. |
| You can either use technology or go old school. |
| We have three major websites that you can check out for apartments. |
| hürriyetemlak.com, milliyetemlak.com and sahibinden.com. |
| I will put them somewhere here. |
| If you want to go old school, you can choose the neighborhood you want to live in |
| and find the local real estate agents. |
| Generally we have three to four real estate agencies in each neighborhood, |
| in big cities of course, such as Istanbul. |
| So you can call them and just visit them by the door |
| and tell what you want for an apartment. |
| Second thing you need to know, you can either rent an apartment empty or furnished. |
| General furnished apartments are harder to find but there are some for expats. |
| And empty apartments are really empty. |
| Generally no closets, no washers, no oven and anything. |
| And in Turkey we don't have a common washroom |
| so you will need one washer in your apartment. |
| But keep in mind some newer apartments may have some appliances. |
| So if you prefer those kind of apartments, |
| you should tell the agent or arrange your online search preferences accordingly. |
