James: This is Must-Know Turkish Slang Words and Phrases, Season 1, Lesson 19. In this lesson, you'll learn popular slang.
James: There are some odd idioms for very simple actions in Turkish.
SLANG EXPRESSIONS
James: The expressions you will be learning in this lesson are:
Selin: volta atmak
Selin: arkadan vurmak
Selin: dikiş tutturamamak
Selin: gaza gelmek
James: Selin, what's our first expression?
Selin: volta atmak
James: literally meaning "throw a rope." But when it's used as a slang expression, it means "to stroll."
