John: This is Must-Know Turkish Slang Words and Phrases, Season 1, Lesson 4. In this lesson, you'll learn slang describing people, part 1.
John: Turkish people have a lot of nicknames and labels for people for almost every situation.
SLANG EXPRESSIONS
John: The expressions you will be learning in this lesson are:
Selin: kokoş
Selin: acıların çocuğu
Selin: sonradan görme
Selin: çenesi düşük
John: Selin, what's our first expression?
Selin: kokoş
John: literally meaning "pompous person." But when it's used as a slang expression, it means "person who dresses up excessively."
