INTRODUCTION
In each lesson of this 25 part series, you'll master a common question for Turkish learners, and then learn how to answer it like a native. You'll learn how these key phrases work by breaking them down into each component. Then through repetition and new vocabulary, you'll expand your understanding of the question, its answers, and any variations.

In this lesson, you'll learn how to respond to the common question Do you like Turkish food? In Turkish this is
Ece: Türk yemeklerini sever misiniz?
The first word in the question is
Ece: Türk
Gina: meaning Turkish in English.
Ece: (Slow, by syllable) Türk
Gina: Listen again and repeat.
Ece: Türk

Gina: This pattern of first introducing a word at natural speed, providing the translation, breaking it down, and then giving it again at natural speed will be repeated throughout the series. Try to speak aloud as often as possible. The next word in the question is

Gina: Which is like saying No, I don’t like it. in English. Let's hear it slowly.

Ece: Hayır, sevmiyorum.
Gina: Now let's break down our original response from the beginning. The first word:
Ece: evet
Gina: means yes.
Ece: (Slow, by syllable) evet

meaning döner(turkish food).

Turkish is a language of suffixes. Let's revise your answer accordingly:

Köfteye bayılırım.

Here, -e,-a is called Noun Case "-e" in Turkish. This signifies movement to or toward to the noun itself. "Y" is a buffer letter.
